About Organizing Tips and Tricks
The story behind the website, the systems, and the person who created them.

Hi, I’m Susanne.
I’m a single mom, tea enthusiast, dog owner, and the creator of Organizing Tips and Tricks. I live in Norway and spend my days working on this website, slowly learning new things, and creating systems that make life a little easier.
I also happen to have three personality disorders, which probably sounds more dramatic than it usually is. Let’s just say my brain likes to keep things “interesting”.
The routines, organizing systems, and challenges you’ll find here are things I use myself. Many of them started as solutions to problems I was trying to solve in my own life.
I didn’t create this website because I have everything figured out. I created it because I was trying to figure things out too.

Why I Created This Website
Like many people, I’ve struggled with routines, motivation, mental fatigue, and the feeling that there simply wasn’t enough structure to keep everything running smoothly.
Over time, I discovered that small changes often work better than dramatic ones.
Simple routines, realistic systems, and manageable habits helped me create more calm and consistency in my daily life.
Organizing Tips and Tricks grew from that journey. It’s the resource I wish I’d had when I was trying to figure it all out myself.

My Approach
You’ll notice that many of the guides on this website focus on small steps, realistic routines, and practical solutions. That’s intentional.
I know what it’s like to have low-energy days, to lose motivation, and to feel overwhelmed by advice that assumes everyone has endless time and energy.
My goal isn’t to help people create perfect lives. It’s to help people create systems that still work when life gets messy, stressful, or difficult.
Because sometimes progress isn’t about doing everything. Sometimes it’s just about having something reliable to fall back on.
How I Use AI
I also want to be open about how I create content for this website.
Every article, guide, and resource starts with my ideas, experiences, research, and planning. However, before anything is published, I use AI as an editing and review tool.
Living with anxiety often means I second-guess my work and wonder whether something is clear enough, helpful enough, or ready to publish.
AI helps me review content, improve clarity, check structure, and make sure the information is as useful as possible for readers.
I also use AI to create many of the illustrations and images you’ll find throughout the website. Part of that comes from having a very specific vision for how I want things to look. Sometimes I can picture an image in my head but can’t find anything that quite matches it. I even have AI tweak the images of my own rooms, like the images of my entryway and my kitchen.
If I’m being honest, it probably also has something to do with my tendency to obsess over details and keep tweaking things until they feel just right. AI gives me a creative way to bring those ideas to life and create images that fit the website exactly the way I imagine them.
Think of AI as my editor, illustrator, and creative assistant, not my author.
